OT: R1 video .. cars don't have anything on speed like this

This is a stock Yamaha YZF R1. He does 80-140 in roughly 6 seconds! Our cars do 0-60 in about the same time. Pretty insane<ul><li><a href="http://www.the-hub.com/~mikem/r1.mpeg">http://www.the-hub.com/~mikem/r1.mpeg</a</li></ul>

WOW! 175MPH....100 on the off-ramp.....I got scared watching the video.. :-)

i can attest to that. Ive been 172mph on my R1... Its unreal, what a rush that is.

It also does 0-125 in 8 seconds. 0-60 in 3.2 seconds. Third gear wheelies are no problem

unless you dont know what you are doing, then, it could be a major problem.

that's pretty cool stuff. Dangerous and inadvisable but cool :-) I'd only do that on a very good stretch of road (scrap CA) that I've driven oh, 200 times before or so. Late at night. Could you imagine plowing into a car doing 70 Mph? It's like they're bloody standing still!
