ahhh, real brakes
I went with Alcons from Vortrag, and some bridgestone Pole positions S02 tires.
I am using some loaner rotors, until my Alcon rotors show up.
Boy does it stop. I paced off 60-0 in about 100 ft. I can actually tell what the brakes are doing for a change. The feel is much improved. The front/rear proportioning is set up great for dirt. I can lock up the brakes in a corner, and the car just drifts sideways. None of that "handbrake" turning effect any more. Takes away some of the fun, but I can always l use the handbrake.
I can't left foot brake in the S4, seems that if you have the car in gear, and hit the brakes, the ECU shuts off the gas. If the clutch is in, or it is in neutral, it seems to operate normally. But I still have not concluded all of my testing. I have a suspicion that it my get confused sometimes, and shut down the engine while heeling and toe braking. I still have not sorted thru that yet.

Well, Its time to pack for Kansas, Dorothy. We"ll see how the works on the track.
