With APR's EMCS program if you change it back to stock program while at service, will the dealer

If they really want to...
It's my understanding that the "locking" version of the EMCS is optional. So if you don't have this option, and your dealer suspects you are chipped and knows how to use the EMCS, they could switch it.
And of course, all you have to do is look at the ECU to know it's been modified.

I would concider the chip but don't want to loose any sleep over it.. Would that be a decision (M)
I would end up paying for? Honestly. I don't know... It's kind of a gamble in my eyes... Maybe if I really need more power I'll buy something faster and something that the dealers won't stare at you with their evil eye for doing.. I'm not saying that I won't chip the car, who knows?? 66 hp and gobs of torque sound appealing.. I guess if I was doing it right, I'd have a laptop computer, a vag com tool, service reset tool as well as the stock ECU on hand in case I need to switch it on the spot if I ever broke down (Then again this isn't a cheap option either, but if something were to go wrong it might be the cheapest).. I don't need to pay $$$$ for something stupid.. I guess I like to place my bets on sure things...
