Default APR VS MTM Exhaust One month later

Well I am quite pleased to say that my exhaust problems have been solved. It only cost me 300 bucks more installation/removal of the APR and an
extra 700 bucks for the MTM cat back. In my mind it was money well spent. I would strongly discourage ANYONE from getting the APR cat back unless they are already deaf or are using it on the track. The fit of the MTM was better, we had problems as the y pipe on the APR was not quite the right length thus it forced the muffler against the rear bumper. I am not upset with apr at all, when one buys aftermarket parts one should expect some fitment difficulties. Live and learn and use this board and save yourself some money. I am still happy with my 19' BBS CH /pirelli 7000.

I have heard the APR exhaust fit is a little bad. The MTM exhaust is money well spent.

My APR went in perfectly, fit & finish excellent. MTM is nice but hardly money well spent!

Default Don't know where you got that from. This is the first time I've read about an APR fitment problem.

Mine fits perfectly. I like the sound and I have excellent hearing!

Default Completely disagree.

The fit and finish of the APR couldn't have been any better. I was able to install it w/ my father's help in 15-30 mins (another 30 to remove stock).

(This is directed to others, since you're rightfully happy w/ the MTM...) If you're unhappy w/ the sound of the (pretty loud) APR or prefer a quieter exhaust, be reassured that they are soon releasing a two muffler variation on the exhaust in about a month. I'll be getting this one, when it comes out... I expect fit and finish will continue to be of the highest quality.

I think your statement about deafness is a little strong, people who like the UUC volume/sound should like the SRT version of the APR exhaust. I've gotten many compliments on it from automotive enthusiasts...

Default No fit problems whatsoever for me, and I like the sound!

I did not have fit problems at all on my exhaust and in terms of build quality I could not be more satisfied. I like the sound of the exhaust quite a bit and I too have received many compliments.
