Dealer used sand paper to wash car
So I go in for my 5K svc. The dealer washes my car and my once glass like clear coat is now totally F&%KED UP! I AM SO PISSED! Is there anything I can do? You see when you wash a car, it is important for the rag or sponge to be clean, I guess these guys don't care about your $50K vehicle. So do I call Audi and file a complaint? Am I stuck with scratches on my hood forever? Can they be buffed out?

Raw deal man, I would talk to your salesman and service writer about making it right for you.....
Even when my trusted detailer washes my car I watch his guys like a hawk. I dont let them touch the guage cover plastic or the bose scince they already scrached it with that bitch-*** detailing brush. One guy popped the sheet metal in and out on my hood. No damage but boy did my heart skip a beat. Most people are just careless and dont really care. But I digress, you really must raise hell with your dealership until they rectify the situation.

I have standing orders with my dealer, "Never Detail my car!"
I even bought it with the white wrap still on it, and the interior covered with the sticky plastic stuff.
Your car gets washed with the same rag and sponge that the 1988 Toyota just before you was washed with, the one owned by the beach bum. ;-)

Sorry to hear that. You can try 3M imperial Hand Glaze. If you can't "feel" the scratch...
- the scratch is not deep, you should be able remove the scratch.
In the mean time, you should call your dealer about it. You may also try a detailer and ask the dealer to reimburse.
