Remote Range - Anyone get it fixed?

Default Remote Range - Anyone get it fixed?
I complained about the low remote range (mine won't work beyond 5-10 feet), and the dealer said there is nothing they can do. I looked up the TSB, but it's dated 6-16-98, and it looks like the improvement was incorporated at that time into production. Has anyone actually had this modification done to their S4, and did it increase the range?
My remote is nearly useless, and the unlock button is almost worn out from repeatedly trying to get the stupid doors to unlock.

chin trick... stick the remote up to your chin and press the button- range is broadened.
