Default The X chip runs more boost than the standard GIAC chip - make your own call....

The power is still really smooth, tho.

I'm even impressed at how drivable the XR chip is -- that is, when I have 100 octane in

Default Vag tool will never *really* catch the peak (unless you are amazingly lucky)

usually the peak happens faster than the sampling rate...

you'll need a real boost gauge w/ peak hold to catch it for sure

Right on the money: Boost gauge should have been standard in a car like the S4

Default Don't let the nay sayers scare you. This chip is not pushing more boost than most of the others...

We have the comparitive data logging to prove it. What makes this chip so special is its ability to maintain intended ignition advance and throttle angle. This chip is *not* dangerous for the engine or turbos.

GIAC has *never* made a pump gas chip that is "on the edge", or dangerous to the car's mechanicals. That is one of their hallmarks.
