I'm using 225/45 YR 17 on 17x8" wheels, but the car isn't lowered. No problems at all...

I know this isn't exactly what you were looking for, but figured I'd let you know anyway.

8" wide wheel is recommended for 235 tires, FYI

if used with stock wheels which are 7.5" you'd have excessive lateral rolling and mushy handling

I have Pilot Sports in that size on stock 17x7.5 with MTM lowered suspension and it works fine. I put some chalk on the suspension pieces to check for rubbing and not one mark. The speedometer is actually more precise on (was a little on the high side before).

warning s-03's are *very* wide -- be careful!

the s-03's are noticably wider than most tires -- you will probably run into problems, especially if you're lowered. i'd stick with 225.
