For anyone who can't find them, there's a FDNY/NYPD store here
that sells those awesome Navy blue hats with NYPD,FDNY, and PAPD on them if anyone can't find them locally. I believe it's one size fits all. They are 12.00+tax+shipping. I bought a few for my friends in the UK, email me if u need a hookup.

I need to rant for a second...
Not to take away anything from the wonderful NYFD folks who have the best response time in the world, or the NYPD who is unflappable in the face of disaster...
I have yet to see a Cantor Fitzgerald hat.. or a Port Authority Janitors Cap, etc..
If you are a Fireman (whose job it is to run into a burning building) and you lose your life, your family has a full salary period, pension, death benefits, etc to help them financially. If you worked at the Bagel shop in the basement of the WTC, then your family *might* get 2 weeks pay as a death benefit.
I'd like to see an NFL team wear an Au Bon Pain hat for a game.. That was a terrible tragedy, and any loss of life should be remembered. My point is that people need to help the average joe as much as they need to praise the heroes.

it's out here in Strong Island(aka, LINY) on Westbury Ave.
a huge percentage of NYPD and such do not live in NYC, it's too much money for most(ps, i live in queens now). I am glad to hook anyone up. no street vendor fugazi's here
