65K and no spare
This AM I was grinding through the stop & go traffic before the toll station when I saw a friend by the side of the road jumping up and down. I hadn't seen him for awhile and didn't know he'd bought a new M3 which was sitting adjacent to him with a flat front tire. I pulled across the lanes (the S4 makes this SO easy!) and parked in back of him.
He looked pretty pissed. I got out of the car in time to hear him yell "65,000 dollars and it doesn't have a f&^%ing spare tire! 65,000 dollars and it doesn't have a g^$%damn jack. 65,000 dollars and a f^$%ing flat tire kills it". He was furious partly because he never thought to check if it had a spare. To be fair, he found the car had a "mobility kit" but it was useless is face of the tire/rim damage.
I took him to a service station, and you can bet I managed to squeezed in that the S4 he was sitting in cost 20k less and came with a a fifth alloy wheel w/ a spare tire. He was less happy than before when I dropped him off.
He called me just now at work to thank me `cause he thought he forgot to during when he was so pissed. The rim that went flat is ruined `cause he hit a small pothole or crack pulling over and folded the rim edge over. The dealer doesn't have one in stock and will get one in three days. To quote "65,000 dollars, no spare and a flat puts me in a f^%$ing Neon for 4 days".

M Coupe and M Roadster have the mobility kit...
...since they have dual exhaust (no room for the spare well). The Z3 has a donut spare though. I guess I could buy a donut spare and strap it down to the rear deck. Hmmm...
