Help! Got another speeding ticket after just...

receiving supervision last week for my first speeding violation in 10yrs (no other moving violations either). This makes 2 within a 3-month period. *#*&@*(#$!!!!! First was 76 in a 55mph; last nite was 87 in a 55mph on Rte 83 in Oak Brook (Chicago). Man, I've got a bad feeling that I'm screwed this time.

Anyone else have this happen to them? What is wisest route in this case? Any help w/b very much appreciated.

well in my state 30mph or more over is CRIMINAL, meaning they arrest you. what did they do ?

is it a must appear ?

BUY IT LIVE IT DRIVE IT. NO TICKETS SO FAR, but an udercover cought me speeding through a sun pass toll both. He gave me a warning. Radar can't help there

87 in 55 is not good. I would get a Lawyer.

What's supervision?

A general guideline to speeding tickets is always fight them in court. 99% of the time just showing up will get the fines and points reduced one level down. But if you get snagged for 30+ over the limit you will need to spend some $$ on a good lawyer. Afterwards look into taking a defensive driving course. (Good way to meet fast women with easy cars) One day class takes 2 points off in NJ. Not sure about IL.

ahhh...good ole oakbrook mall and rt 83! man i miss that area...

but i would recommend putting your S4 away for some time...otherwise u gonna see jail!

Dude slow down. I'll admit to speeding, but never more then 15 over

unless I KNOW the road is clear of the popo. When I crest hills by myself, go past onramps, unfamiliar area I slow down. You must have stuck out like a sore thumb with that kind of speed differential. Good luck!
