Default For the EE's who can relate...does it annoy you that people call this "hard-wiring". I'm not.....

knocking anyone, it was just odd when I came across this a while back.

Default Just seemed odd to me...don't you guys with those V1's run it to the left hand BEC?....

A friend of mine on this board has a very clean install. I might need to get one soon. It's hard to stay close to the speed limit. 70 feels like 50, and so on.

Default BEC? Battery Electrical Connection?

regardless, if you permanently wire it to the car instead of using the cigarette connector, you are hardwiring it.

Default Sorry, BEC...Body Electrical Center. Didn't know you guys call a hardwire a terminal placement into.

the BEC(fuse holder, whatever suits your terminology...too many acronyms)
