Tanoga vs. Stratmosphere Short Shifter???

Any opinions here? Itching to buy one this week.

PLEASE HELP!!!

Also, I have a 12/00 build date. Does anyone know the specific model necessary for either shifter?

Is it pretty hard to remove the wood trim? A trick? (m)

I was pulling on it pretty hard, but it didn't seem to want to budge. Pull at an angle?

Need to pull it straight up...

See where the yellow circle is? There are two clips underneath there. Grab ahold here and pull up. I found it easier to pull up on the one side and then the other in an alternating fashion. Easier to explain in person.

Careful in being to aggressive though. There are two smaller clips near the front of the cover that are easily lost.
