is this true on 2000 s4's???????
" many of the 2000 s4's turbo's go bad/blow prematurely????
PLEASE SAY IT AINT SO!! I JUST GOT THIS DAMN CAR COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO!
HE WENT ON TO add, that on 01's they made the adjustment and added heat shields and some other stuff, larger inlets, etc......

Here are my (and his) and others recomendations:
1) let the car warm up. wait until the car's oil temp gauge (NOT water temp gauge) indicates 175F before you hammer it.
2)let the car cool down after driving it "in the boost" anytime within a few minutes before shutting it off. Example: If you've been hammering the car, let it idle for 2-4 minutes to let the turbos spin down and to keep the oil flowing through them
3)ONLY use synthetic oil, preferably 0W-40, 0W-30 or 5W-30, in that order. This will help prevent oil "koching" or burning and turning to tar, on the turbo's impeller bearings.
