WAY OFF TOPIC: Can anyone offer some insights to the hindu views on peace....
I have to give a 12 minute presentation on Alternatives to War in one of my classes in four hours and I can't find anything on the Hindu thing. Also, any alternatives to war you can think off would be appreciated. Thanks.

What do you mean by the "Hindu thing"? I don't think it's (or at least should be) any different from a sane logical view on how to treat others. It's pretty much exactly the same as any other religion.
Basically, war is NOT an option. If I remember my mom correctly, everything you do, will come to either help you (if you do good things), and bite you (if you do bad things), in the next life.
So my view is that those morons who caused thousands of lives are going to be sitting next to the same morons who chose to take revenge.
There's always that saying...."Take the high road...."
Of course, after flaming Katana I may be subject to a great flame war in my next incarnation of the Audiworld S4 forum in the year 2080, when the car's got Twin fusion reactors and the same crappy dealer service.
That is of course, if we come back as the same life forms, which I highly doubt :-)
