Thrust ... One camp says ¾ feels best, others climax when wide open!

Which way do you like it, and why? ;-)

Seriously, can someone explain the &frac3/4;s throttle issue -- what it is and how it applies to different build dates? I was absent from class when this topic was covered. : )

I say WOT, and so does my boost gauge. Who am I to argue with everyone else though..

Some drivers are convinced that 3/4 is the way to go. I don't want to start a flame, to each there own. But I find lots of thrust with my foot to the floor. 3/4 is where I start to really feel it in my car but progressive depressing of the pedal past 3/4 works well for me.

I say, if she can take it all then give it to her :D Full throttle baby! X chip on M code fixes...

3/4 problem. The problem with the 3/4 idea is that the car will not use the wide open throttle timing maps, etc and so it may feel just as strong but you are still lossing out.

I also just read that 00's don't have that problem, since I have a 00 I guess you should disreguard.

Ahhh, ok ... thanks. BTW ...

I just moved from Chandler (Ocotillio) last Fall and miss being able to meet up with you guys at Firebird. Myself and a couple other Audi goobers tried to start a club in the Valley (Tucson and Flagstaff invited to join) for a couple years, but it never took off. Sounds like there are a lot more Audi owners in the area now.

Also, if you're looking for something more than just a sprint down a ¼ mile straight and get a chance, the East track @ FIR is a great A4/S4 course ... nice and technical. : ) I miss home. : (
