Holy **** batman! $40 bucks per wheel for mounting on a run flat machine?!?

This is ridiculous not to mention I have to drive 75 miles one-way just to get to this tire store. I tried two different stores in town and each of them seemed very concerned with attempting to mount the wheels without harming them. I was pleased to get an honest response though. Am I crazy to pay $40 bucks a wheel for mount and balance? I know you get what you pay for and the piece of mind knowning your wheels are in goods hands but I don't take ***-ramming very well.

I pay $20 at a reputable wheel shop.

It's getting better. Just called another shop...claims he can do it by hand for $35

my dealer just charged me $15 per 17" RS4 wheel to mount S03s. zero damage. and, I used a $10 off

coupon and paid $50 for all 4 and $1/old tire to trash them. Finally, no more RE040s.
