Does anyone have custom downpipes on their S4, & if you do how much and whats the specs?

Well, I'm looking around for some downpipes for my S4...
I know apr makes them, but they're expensive... I'm wondering why they costs so much and why I can't just go to a welding shop to make me some new DPs... Any advice on how to find some economical DPs with the performance? Thanks.

I got a set made for my 2000 S4 from scratch from a shop in Florida. Real good guy, used to be an Audi tech and opened his own shop. Give him a call- (239) 470-7545- His name is Noah.
