Default Stock tires problem - P6000
Well, with only 12000 miles, I can see a little tear on the sidewall of my front passenger tire.

Has anyone experienced problems with these tires?
How fast do they wear out, looks like the tread is getting fairly low, and I haven't raced it or anything like that, just normal driving.

If I would replace the tires now, what would you guys recommend? Michelin? and where are the better deals, Tirerack?

Default They're not 50,000 mile tires
I got about 10K out of mine, but I took 'em to the track a couple times. I'd say 15,000 to 20,000 miles is normal.

I replaced mine with Bridgestone S03's. They're a better tire (quieter, more grip). They're not a winter tire though -- depends on whether you'll see snow. If so, you'll want all seasons for the winter.

Default I have a good deal for you on new S03 if you like.
$550 for a set of 225/45/17
but you'd have to pay for shipping.

Default 17K on mine no problem...but noisy !
will probably change them for S03 at 25K...

Default Exactly what I did - changed at 24K to S-03s - wonderful tire/reasonable price ....
Also, definitely go with Tire Rack! Great to deal with.
