Default Combining an S4 to RS4 kit with a 500+ hp RS4 kit...
If we can upgrade to essentially be an RS4, and if Hoppen (I think it's them, but if not, someone did it) can tune an RS4 to be 500+ hp, why doesn't Hoppen (or whoever it is) come out with a direct upgrade (combination of the two kits) for our cars? Just a thought for the evening...

maybe the internals of an S4 engine can't safely habdle teh K16's?

The S4 & RS4 share absolutely NO internal components at all. Two different animals.

Default Reasons...
1. RS4 has beefier internals.
2. 500+ HP kit includes internal engine work (mostly reworking the head, IIRC).
3. It IS Hoppen, and if you know what they charge for their lower HP kits, just imagine what they would charge YOU for this kind of stuff.

Yeah. The RS4 is based on the S4. There are a number of similarities in the internals.

Default I'd be nervous unless we made some internal improvements to deal with added high HP heat.
