You should "race" him and see...in a drag race it should be pretty close but that's about the only place it would be.

When I'm stage 2+...
I don't imagine it'll be much of a problem beating a Z...maybe I'm way off my rocker...someone correct me if I'm wrong. If you're stock I think that's another story...in which case I think you'd be close. I've never gotten one to run so I'd look forward to seeing if you get a chance to make some runs with your bro.

My Cousin has the same car in Brick Yard Red, we've both swapped and this but haven't lined up yet, here's my analysis. First gear, you're owned. You need to get a good launch and have those turbos whistling. Second gear the S4 has torque to scare him. At WOT the Z is a beast, don't let the exhaust note scare you. I know you don't want to do this but tell your brother to get an AEM intake. I installed one on the Z and the exhaust sounds real mean and at shift it almost sound like the car has a blow off valve. Also the throttle response is a lot crisper. Unfortuneatly I think my cousin has the advantage now. I tried to sabatoge the installation, we alway joke about that. He LOVES driving my car, talking about how in 2nd when the turbos kick in he has to hold on with both hands and can't talk enought about the quattro. Have fun guys and stay safe :-) At least now you guys have nice cars to trade up.
