Having hard time adjusting coilovers. Please help.
I have Stasis Street Sports and I'm trying to raise the front about 1/4". When I tried to turn the collar, there's so much resistance that I an barely move it. It's not from debris on the thread but it seems like there's just too much tension on the collar from the sprint to allow it to move up. When I tried this I only had 1 wheel off the ground. Would lifting up both front wheels help any? A local shop also recommended using a spring compressor to compress the spring and then turning the collar. I don't know how comfortable I feel doing that. I never felt comfortable with those bolt type compressors. Is there another method or a different type of compressor I could use without taking the coilovers off to adjust them?

On the Koni coilovers, they've started to supply a small washer that sits between the lower perch and the spring. It allows the spring to separate from the collar and spin the collar more freely. You might try contacting Koni and get some of these. It'll make adjusting the height much easier.
