Almost T-boned a car in the parking lot thanks to mirror blindspot
I havent really had any "surprises" over the last 2 months since I posted about it <a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/s4/msgs/1302115.phtml">here</a>, but today I was in a parking lot pulling up to a 2-way stop (cross traffic does not stop) after exiting a parking garage when I then proceeded across the cross-drive. I get within a few feet of nailing a Focus before it is visible directly in front of me and emerging from the leftside of my rearview mirror. I come to a quick stop. Quite a good thing it was I was only doing about 12mph then; otherwise I wouldn't have been able to stop nearly as instantly. Due to the corner of the garage obstructing my vision of the drive to my right before getting to the stop sign, the mirror continued to hide that car as I emerged far enough forward of the garage to see to my right. Grrrr.
