Default New downpipes beneficial w/o new turbos?

I'm going to be replacing my timing belt..etc..etc....and was contemplating new downpipes, but I dont' have the $$ for the k04 kit...would there be any substancial difference in being stage 2+ instead of stage 2? Thx!!!

Default big time.. downpipes will make a huge difference.

search the archive for past posts on people who have done the mod, you will see some good results.

Also rs4 clutch, s-flo intake and dv's would make a great addition also.. just my .2 cents

Default definitely wait.

i don't think it's worth the $$$, and i've got experience in the area. it's going to cost too much. if you wait till you have the k04's going in, then at least you'll save some money on the intall, which is expensive -- and if you DIY without pulling the motor, then you're going to have a lot of fun with the heatshields.

waiting is worth it imho. it's not that big of a difference on k03's imho.
