Default Ooopsie. I guess I ran my tires a liiiiitle too long...
From the outside of the tire they looked ok. I had not got down and looked under the car to see the inside of them. Yes, they were into the wear bars but then I always run them down unless the weather is rainy.

I decided to change them in prep for a 500 mile drive (to a funeral). Now I'm glad I did... sheesh, imagine that thing coming apart a 100 mph. Ouch.

First time I've ever had a tire like this. The steel belt was visible here.

I've worked on many lowered S4s and tire wear on the inside seems to be very commonplace.

Default I've seen this on several stock S4s as well.
These are on aligned cars as well.

looks just like my front right. There is no camber adjustment to fkn fix it

Default That's what my AVS Sports looked like after 20k miles or so ...
They were at *maybe* 40% tread wear on the outer shoulder, but corded on the inside.

Expected with my suspension, though ... shouldn't happen stock.
