Mobil 1 0W40 vs. Amsoil 0W30, the results are in......and the winner is...
a tie, both show excellent wear numbers. I was hesitant to run the M1 for longer than 5k, so the results may be slightly skewed, but based on this either oil is good for 5k. Personally, I'll continue using the Amsoil as the engine just sounds quieter and seems slightly more responsive.<ul><li><a href="http://home.ptd.net/~mrbond/Audi3.pdf">results</a></li></ul>

Nice...added to the list. Interesting how much lower TBN is compared to AMSOIL.
It's obviously still within spec as per their notes, but your last AMSOIL test had a TBN of 10. Also looks like Mobil uses a little Molybdenum in their mix, not nearly as much as Redline though.
