my ABS and BRAKE lights flashing...

i read the manual, and it says, now i will have rear brake lock-up.

is it a bad idea to go to the drag strip saturday? also, what caused this and how can it be dealt with?

anyone have a price range to fix it?

i have alcon 4pot front brakes w/pagid pads,
and stock rear's with axxis pads

have you also checked the brake fluid?

That'll make lights come on too.

If you lock your rear brakes, the car could easily spin...not a good thing from a drag run.

it seems as though it is full but...

i'm not 100% sure. i took off the cap, to check the fluid level, but there is a filter on top.

any other sure ways of checkin it?

ABS is also tied to MAF

There are min/max marks on the side. When was the system flushed last?

try cleaning and reseating the ABS sensor on the wheel that is thinking it's locking

I did this and it worked. I acuallyused osme windex to get some crud and rust off the sensor.

I had the same lights, then my brakes locked up. The dealer replaced the EPS pump, pressure sensor, and brake light sensor. Now my brake pedal goes to the floor w/o the car stopping. Waiting for a new master cylinder to come in to be installed. Hopefully that fixes it.
