Has anyone done business with AtLastImports? LONG
I won an auction from them on the 8th of Apr on ebay for Audi Sport Mats. The same day I sent them payment through paypal for the item. I live in Hawaii so the shipping is automatically 2nd Day Air (+$45.00). 10 Days Pass and 3-4 email with no responses. The day of the 10th day, (Which happens to be the deadline for filing complaints to ebay/paypal) I get an email from them telling me that he paid for the costs to ship it 2nd Day Air (Mind you this email came ON the 18th). Then a few hours later I get an email saying the package is being shipped back because my address was incomplete. I check my mailbox today and see a card from UPS saying that my address was incomplete but I can pick up the package at the UPS station and that it will be sent back on the 21st of Apr to the shipper. (If my address is incomplete than how the hell did they get the address to even send me this goddam CARD?!) I call the UPS in Honolulu and they tell me that the item is being processed for return per Shippers request. Do these guys always conduct business like this? Or are they giving me the shaft because I don't live in the continental US? I just had to vent my frustrations with these guys and I hope no one has to go through this crap like I did.

I ordered some stuff from them for Xmas last year and got the run-around. I was promised delivery
by Xmas as I had ordered in early November, but the stuff that was coming from Germany (guess they don't stock a lot of the items they offer for sale on their web site) was the wrong stuff (they sent me an e-mail to tell me this) so they didn't have my items in stock. I ended up getting some of my order (and those items were a good price), but the shipping charges for only part of my order made the stuff pretty expensive overall. If I had received my entire order it would have been a reasonable shipping charge spread out over all the items.
Bottom line is that I was not real happy and in hindsight I should have just cancelled the enitre order when the stuff didn't come in from Germany. It did seem like they take their sweet time with getting the items to the customer. I'd give them a 5 on a 1 to 10 scale. Most likely will not order from them again.
