Default IC Misters: IAT Logs... FATS (Stock ICs w/misters)

Tested out my IC misters today. It reduced my IAT while running by a whole 10*C!

I had been logging all evening. I did the a run without them on and I peaked at 48*C IAT. I then did a second run (which would be hotter) and my IAT's peaked at 39*C. I thought that was pretty cool. It also took a solid .15 seconds off my FATS time. I am running 17psi now on stock ics, its warm out so my timing is way down, but consistant 4.3s...not to shabby... IC misters are a good cheap alternative until you can get real ICs (rs4, awe).

Default what IC misters are they? what triggers them to spray?

What about misting the RS4s or AWEs? Wonder if that helps even more.

Default Hey so is your car running better now? *ping* I'm assuming you running with the MAF on now?

IC misters work...but people never belive me =/

lol, same setup as me! I use to have the module but I sold it and went ghetto style =)

Default I am about to do this...Can you post some details?

I was planning to do the setup with the seperate fluid bag installed next to the battery and one jet on each IC...but I'd entertain other setups..

I'd like to use a dedicated switch instead of the fog switch but I'd like to see how you piped them and where the jest were installed...

Default So you're saying use no module? I will be putting my Avalon kit in next month just...

in time for the hot Sacto. summer. Should I just wire a switch in, then just use a throttle switch? Kind of like using naaaaawwwwzzzz. Or wire in the complete system. I just don't want to have to be pushing a switch all the time on the dash. That's kind of annoying.
