If F-Hose fails on pre FL,can post FL components be fitted instead(No F-Hose) ??

Uhhh, face lift? You can swap out the F-hose with a newer manifold or...
even easier...a TIP Allroad or older A6 manifold which is essentially plug n play. I will be doing this in a couple weeks. You don't need to take anything off the car (ie body panels, etc.) to do this. It's all on the top front, top, and rear top of engine. I will be posting pics in a couple of weeks showing install.
