Default What's a reasonable price for a complete engine?
Looking for one to tinker with and found one with about 15K on it an I was thinking of offering between 3-6K? Thanks.

Default Short block or long block?
Short blocks can be had for < $1000. A long block should cost about $3500.

NO, not for the S...for the TR4! A bit off topic huh. But it would be fun to have a spare 2.7T around then throw it in a Corrado or early rabbit GTI.

1900 bucks 302 rebuilt 350hp from a local place. Friends dad just put one in his Cobra.

Default Really! Mine would be going into my little British car! HAHA
I've seen two done and it looks clean. Only the steering rack needs moved forward a tiny pit and the steering column needs moved around the engine, but seen that too. So I may just go with that instead of leaving the I-4 in.

I had a custom JTR Variant '72 240Z way back in the day. That was fast.
