Check this lovely out...
I was on my way over to KVNY do some fun flying today. It was P-Car weather, and the 993 is dirty now anyway. (Why do I always forget not to buy black cars?) Of course, the Avant is still on the lift, and will be there for some time. I do miss it. Oh yeah. The Syclone failed idle HC tests this morning.
Anyway... this finely crafted piece of engineering kept cutting me off, and trying to dice through traffic. I'm not sure how I did it, but I managed to get where I was going first.

I think it's a very fine example of the uber-rare, late eighties Escort Type-R. I mean, what with the factory bolt on wing, custom crafted of aircraft quality aluminum for maximum downforce, and the Asymmetrical Super Dual Exhaust, (weren't these inline fours?), I don't know how the hell I managed to pass this thing and hold him off.
Yes... I do apologize for the mobile phone shot, but those really are two completely different coffee can bullet mufflers.
The thing was a sleeper... It had four completely unmatched steel wheels, and the factory no-wax-ever paint.
Why do people do this?
