Stage III- fueling/software question ???
I had planned to go with a 5bar (or crushed 4bar) FPR and Greentops with a 83mm MAF, but am getting the impression that this may be overkill and I could go with one or the other.
Although performance is a consideration, I will give a little to get driveablity and reliabiity.
My question, if I don't want to spend every spare minute tweaking my car should I run:
1. 5bar and Greentops
2. 5bar stock injectors
3. 4bar (stock) and greentops.
The cost between these three options is not an issue, I just want to be able to run at reasonable boost levels (X/XR/or the stage III- if it gets developed) boost without getting too lean without tweaking.
Thoughts are appreciated. Telling me I am an idiot is OK too.
If you aren't planning on running that much boost (say 15-16psi at redline), then you'd probably be fine with the stock MAF and injectors and just a 5bar FPR to add a bit more fuel.
You definitely don't want to do the greentops with the stock MAF.

If you want to run 1.4 bar flat, you'll need to upgrade the MAF housing and run bigger injectors and a TCD/MBC.

But with the MBC in parallel, you can limit the spike and have boost taper with requested.
