so in diagnosing a rough idle, i logged misfires on my commute home last night, log inside...
Are these misfire counts normal/ok or should I dig deeper?
The commute home is boring as all hell, a lot of idleing around in traffic, which is boring log wise, but since it's a rough idle, made sense to use it as a log sample.

The car has 78k miles, stock ecu, it *should* have stock NGK plugs, runs 91 octane fuel, stock downpipes with old tired cat's and a cat-back exhaust.
Thanks all thoughts are welcome.
Should the car not misfire at all? Or is the range of 0-5 basically mean "all is well"?
Maybe this weekend I'll pull a couple plugs and check them out.
Thanks...

how rough is the ideal? (is the car shaking or u can barely feel it?)
When u get off the free way is it ok for a while?
stopping for a period of time (ie. stop light) dose it get rough then?
I think i have the same problem w/ miss fire. the dealer said its "with in spec".... go figure.

The idel is not always rough, so that doesn't help. i.e., this morning it was buttery smooth. Sometimes though it'll start to shimmy the seat a bit (driver seat) so as i'm sitting still at a light, i start to feel my body shake a bit. lasts for a couple seconds then usualy clears up and repeats till I'm on my way.
I haven't linked it yet to a condition (like just off freeway, or so on) so I can't say. I'll start to pay more attention.
