Turbo Concerns

I bought a used '01 S4 last year with about 80K km (50K miles) and I now have 95K (km, not miles). I believe the car was manufactured around March 2000. I've been hearing the infamous "dentists drill" sound between 1.5K rpm and 3K rpm at lower speeds only - mainly when accelerating soon after the car has been sitting for a while - like first thing in the morning or at the end of the day while leaving work. Seems to go away a little later. I don't hear any sound while at highway speeds. I believe the turbo's are original K03's. I use synthetic only changing every 5K and let the car warm up before pushing it. Any reason to panic? Should I ask the dealer to look into the sound? I suppose they won't do anything unless the turbos actually fail and does the Audi Certified Extended Warranty cover turbo replacement? Any ways to detect imminent turbo failure? My Audi Assured warranty expires in August 2006. Car drives well - no power loss and never chipped. Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks.
