How wide can I go? 255/35/18 lowered?

Default How wide can I go? 255/35/18 lowered?
2001.5 S4, purchasing Bilstein Sports, Neuspeed Springs, BBS CH 18x8.5, 35MM Offset. I plan to lower the car to under 25.5", preferably close to 25". I've done fender rolling in the past on my Bimmers, so I need to know what is entailed and if I will have clearance issues with any of the springs/suspension bits front/rear. Or is my issue just going to be with the front fender lips/liners? I don't mind rolling them or hacking out some of my fender liner, hell, I don't mind cutting the damn fender lip out!! Haha. For those that have done it, what did you need to do?

BTW, I searched like a **** but would like a more definitive answer, seems like lots of peeps have rubbing issues with 235/40 but since they are .5" taller, maybe it's no more effort to successfully run 255/35's.

with a good fender roll, you should be able to do a normal (not wide) 255x35/18 on those wheels...

Default What's a good tire for this set-up?
Was thinking Khumho MX, but not avail in this size. Trying to keep price reasonable. Yokohama E100, Toyo T1S, etc? By normal, you mean not an S03 or R compound?

Default yeah, no S03 or RCompound. I'd get the Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 in that position...
OH, the Dunlop Super Sport Race are not that wide for an RCompound, and they're cheap.

I'm running them as my street tire now.

Default Them Pilot's are spendy....
I'd rather spend less than those babies run, car won't be tracked. It's just a street daily driver.

i am not, I run stock wheels with 225x45/17 r compound as my daily setup...
