Default People w/ Samco TBBs: install question

When you were wrapping up the install and putting everything back together, did you have a hard time reattaching the black metal plate that holds down the sensor. I guess the samco TBB didn't quite fit right in this respect, and I had to put in the screws to force it in to place, so the sensor hole is pulled over/down slightly to fit. Will this be a problem?

Also, one of the really tight 8mm nut/screw that holds that same plate to the sensor itself broke while I was tightening it. The sensor seems pretty much tight in place, will only one screw here be a problem?

er..also, there was no airbox retainer clip connected to the snorkel like there is in the tech article. Again, problem?

Now I'm gonna go fish out a bit that I dropped between the bumper and the radiator =P

I twisted my sensor mount plate to make it fit correctly

Default Just ran into this. You need to rotate the samco tbb

counter clockwise to get the bracket to sit up against the mount. You want this to be a totally passive fit, otherwise when you install those allen head screws they're going to torque the sensor up and away from the tbb and create a hellacious boost leak. Ask me how I know...

I won't have to remove it, right? Just loosen the big tb clamp?
