HELP! Can anyone tell me how to open up a boost gauge?

HELP! Can anyone tell me how to open up a boost gauge?

Specifically an AWE/Omori 45mm mechnical gauge (i.e. the kind used in the AWE center vent boost gauge kit). The wires came out of the back of mine and now it doesn't light up anymore. I need to open it up so that I can resolder them in place. There is a bolt around the hose inlet, but removing it does not seem to alow it to be opened. TIA for the help!

Why waste both of our time posting lame sh*t like that?!?

Anyway... no I'm (obviously) not going to use a hammer, and yes I have contacted AWE (their solution is for me to buy a new gauge from them for $170).

...this is the third time I've posted this question, and so far I've only gotten stuff like that as replies. It gets frustrating when faced with having to drop $170 on a new gauge.
