Default Pre lim pics of Tein adjustment mod:

The holes have been drilled for the front and backs. The backs can't be installed without drilling an access hole not unlike with tracksports. Sometime this week I'm picking up a couple allen wrenches to cut down and a few aluminum ***** to fix onto the adjustment screw on the Teins. Easy, no fuss adjustment just like grandma used to make =)

haha.. who cares, tein is pimp.

How do you like em? They make some nice suspension for Japanese cars... any review?

Default installed tien's 3 weeks ago on my 01' s4

very happy, its very low just the way i like it and it still drives perfect, 16 way adjustable, simple to install. (very low 2.5")

Default lol when was the last time you drilled up without being able to see....

Drilling into something that had to be drilled at an angle with a 3 dimensional surface on top, not knowing where it was going to come out. It's not the cleanest but considering the situation, I'm glad it works. I can clean it up later with a dremel. This solution was much better than cutting out the strut tower brace and the bracket. Ohh I forgot to mention the AC hard line that is exactly where I needed to drill from the top on the passengers side. That was fun working around.

Default Can you check the number on the front and rear springs for me please...

They didn't say which spring went where so I went with the one that was packaged on each shock. I just raised mine to 25" all around last night. It felt a little too bouncy in the front for me at 24"

Default I just raised the car last night to 25" all around.....

I havn't played with the adjustments too much. I wasn't happy with them at 24" all around but 25" is much better. I have them set all the way stiff for now. It's a little rough but that is to be expected so that's good news. I'll post how they are once I get everything set up, corner balanced, and aligned.

Default why are you corner balancing it?

I think for street cars it's a little too much as you always put cargo, passengers in your car.

And to properly corner balance it, you have to sit in the driver seat while they do it. Pointless if you don't account for the driver weight, spare tire weight (or weight without), etc.

Also, cornerbalancing may also result in the car not sitting even.

If you knew everything I said already... then glad you're sooo hardcore.

Let me know how you like your setup. I know Tein is very well regarded in the import world.
