Forza Motorsport or Midnight Clubbed Dub Edition?

I didn't like a prev. version Midnight Club that I played at a friend's house and...
anything with "Dub Edition" in the title isn't really my idea of much of a racing game.
I'll definitely check out Forza based on the positive reviews I've heard.

I'm counting down untill forza is released
It has both the B5 and B6 S4 amongst a slew of other great cars. Furthermore, it supposed to be just as good of a sim as GT4. I might be a little skeptical of that claim, but I'm sure it will pretty close. You mix that with the ability to tune both the cars performance like every other driving game, along with the visuals, and I'm psyched. Check out the xbox website and take a look a the features. Midnight club is a joke to me. That game has sucked since it's first version and the fact that this new one has Escalades beating sportbikes off the line seems a little too arcade for my taste.

Yeah thought so...Just thought I throw in the Dub since there is nothing new for the Xbox
in terms of racing games to compare. Right? After 2+ years with the Xbox and I'm going on my 5th title only. Pretty lame.

I got to play the full version of Forza recently - here are my impressions
First, it was running through a composite video connection, whereas I have GT4 at home running through component in 1080i, so I can't say much about graphics. They did look on par though, but GT4 is an amazing looking game.
In terms of driving mechanics, I didn't feel Forza was as good as GT4. I can't quite put my finger on it - I had the same feeling with SEGA GT on the Xbox when compared with a GT game. GT4 also has a much better sense of speed. I found in Forza I had to watch the speedometer to calculate braking distances and what not - in GT4 you can sense the speed.
But, if you are an Xbox owner, Forza should be a great game. The damage looks pretty good - after hitting walls a few times, the cars have decent visible damange and will begin to handle poorly, as well as loose power. I still wish someone would make a damage model completely founded on realism - if you hit a wall or another car at 80mph, you're done.

I have the MC2 and it's good
I say good not perfect. One day If I'm feeling ambitious I plan to take it apart and tune the spring system of the wheel so that it doesn't spring back as hard. If it was me again, I would wait for the speedster 3 especially because it's designed for the game. However I'm not dissapointed with mine either
