Default Is $2200 a decent price for NIB K04s w/o inlets?

I'm thinking of pulling the trigger even though my stage 3 plans are far away since they've been so hard to get...

That is what I payed three weeks ago. IMO, it's good for the current demand.

I think I paid around 2200 for KO4s with inlets and all parts over a year ago.

Default that's a bit on the high side, but with the shortage right now, i don't know how much lower you'll

find them.

Default If you are not in a hurry I'd wait to see what happens on the GT28 front.

On the K04s I got mine for less with piping(early 2005) but the seller was very generous and the supply at the time was not impacted like it is today.

Default agreed. once the mounting hardware is there, you can run smaller turbos - no need to go wiht GT28s.

id imagine GT22s would have similar spool characteristics to K04s

Default I'm not in a hurry...but if I can just buy the K04s, hold onto them, and sell them if....

the software for the GT turbos turns out to be decent.

if the software for the GT turbos turns out to be not so decent, I would use the K04s (possibly have them K16'd or K24'd) and go the homebrew route, from which people seem to get really drivable cars.
