Default Metal grinding sound from LR wheel turns out to be this surprise...

<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/11029/wheel_bolt.jpg"></center><p>How does this happen? After checking under the car and looking for suspension damage, I thought "Maybe a wheel stud came loose and is rolling around inside the wheel cap." Well, I was close except is was a bit bigger than a wheel stud.

What kind of effect does this have on my car - wheel bearing, alignment, etc.?

Any suggestion on how to get it back on? Looks like it needs a huge allen key.

Default that is whack. You should get a new wheel bearing kit and replace...

Have you had your car serviced recently? CV boot repair? Wheel Bearing repair?

That bolt shouldn't just "pop out"...

Those don't just fall out normally. They're stretch bolts, and not designed to be reused.

Default HAHA...I know...I'm on crack today. My car finally drives straight after...

getting it aligned after f-ing up a set of tires. So i'm on high right now! Just slap me if you ever see me at an event.

yeah, i really need to get an alignment, my "eyeball" toe settings can't be good for the tires...

Never had wheel bearing or CV boot for that wheel replaced - who knows how the bolt backed out.

Default LOL....tell me...these cool settings...after FINALLY finding someone to do it...

Sitting at around 25.25 around...
Front Left Camber -2.0, Caster 3.8, Toe 3/32"
Front Right Camber -1.8, Caster 3.7, Toe 3/32"

Rear Left &amp; Right Camber -1.5, Toe 1/8"

Look OK or should I take it back and changed?

I'd be concerned. How many miles? Either way, I'd' have that replaced and check the other front...
