Ran into a aquaintance who was out in his cls 55 amg. Chip, pulley, exhuast, have to say loudest damn blower I have ever heard, it literally screams at idle. We raced from a roll quite a few times, i pulled all the way to 140+. My car on 91 octane is what I would like to say the fastest you can possibly pull. I would like to challenge anyone to come fill up with a full tank of 91 octane with me with both cars empty and see how it goes, whether it is a GT kit or a K04 kit, k16, rs6, whatever it is I do not think on 91 it could walk me in fact I think I would pull pretty good. I have gotten my FATs times into the mid to upper 3s with 91 and it is tuned very well. This man also owns quite a collection of cars. Went over to his house for some car talk and see how his other babies were doing and I decided to snap a picture for AW. I honestly don't post much of my races anymore and don't really care about video, if I have it i will get it but I am not going to make it a priority. If you want to come out you are all welcome, Crystal Cove saturday mornings, the location will soon be changing though (faster cars, no more cops, fast runs).

If any of the stage 3 cars would like to meet up, feel free to contact me. This is not a call out or an ******* remark, I would just like to see if anyones tuning has gotten to this level on 91 octane. Also I would like to report the motor is runnings safe, 8k miles on this tune. The car now has 32,000 miles on its stage 3 setup and not a single motor problem to date.

I would not be surprised at all to see a 12.4-12.5 out of this car on pump gas. My friend took his subaru to the track with me a couple months ago and ran a 12.51 and I pull on him on 91 about 3 cars no prob. Worse than the CLS55 K2.

what kind of intake are you using? I looked in your pic poster and saw it but if you can give more info that would be great... also what ecu do you have? I am assuming it's a A-box?

 

btw, on pump gas youd prob run better than 12.4-12.5... gus (s4orce2001) ran 12.2@~114 on 93 and his car was untuned.

 

mikes car is tuned for 94, it'd probably run like *** on 91. apples and oranges IMO.

 

what's your boost and lemmi setting? :-)

maybe I'm mistaken, not saying that your car couldn't take them or not. Maybe mike can comment.

 

kleemann stage two would be even faster (I've seen stg 2 kleemann's run mid 11's all day)...

I've even seen a completely stock E55 run 11.8's
