Default IIRC, as per Audi's service guideline, the timing belt does not need to be changed until..more

over 100,000 miles. 80,000 mile belt service is either for the alternator or the water pump, I forget which. Timing belts can break in any car at any milage, they can be freshly done and still break in 1,000 miles. IMO, I wouldn't worry about it as long as you are well within the safety perimeter as in this case. I see no reason why you should not take your S4, espeically when they are at their best in snowy, wintery conditions.

Default If that is the case, the more important question is, do you have winter or all-season tyres?

Not sure if you know but summer tyres turn into hockey puck on ice.
