k04's...

I know many of you will respond by making fun of me, but I have just one question...As of now I have intake, dp's, exhaust, and chip i am soon going to get awe ic's. If i got just straight k04's (not the entire package just the turbos alone) would it hurt my engine if i installed them on it?

You need inlet pipes, but you can do it and not change anything else. Won't "hurt."

You would be Stage 3- and probably not getting the full potential of any of your parts, but it will work fine.

You'd need K-04 Inlet pipes as well. You can run k-04's on a dead stock S4 if you wanted.

And you'd be just fine. Nothing will blow up.

The power band will move around, but the ECU would addapt.

Even on a K-03 chip, you'll still be ok.

i might add a mbc in parallel to cap off any potential boost spikes...making it run smoother

Is anyone in this position?

Does anyone have just intake, exhaust, chip, and k04's? (or something similar to this fairly basic setup)

I've used K04s with stock software and turboback exaust and with an APR chip and no other mods.

The software doesn't "know" you have bigger turbos.

That's actually what I'm running now. All the big work is done, just waiting ......

'till a few final bugs are taken care of, and 'till winter's out of the way. Full stage 3 coming in March/April.
