Default S4 ecu pinout needed!

Hi guys, I am almost done transplanting the 2.7t in my Coupe Quattro, but I need an ecu pinout diagram. I am getting a code 18028 which is coolant temp signal open or short, which is causing limp mode. There is a signal that is sent to the ecu by the instrument cluster, so i need to know which one that is. I searched the bentley for an hour, no pinout and no mention of the signal wire I seek!
HELP!

Default The way I understand it, there are two thermistors in the ECTsensor. One is the G62 for the ecu and

the G2 for the gauge. Pin 93 green/red at ecu goes to the G62. The other G62 wire is brown/green and should have continuity to pin 108 which is probably a ground. These should be the only associated wires with this code.
Are you having problems with the gauge itself too?

HEY! Thanks for the reply. The guage works fine, the wiring is perfect, but on every start-up, I get the code 18028. If I clear the codes with the engine running, the car is not in limpmode for a litle while but then the code comes back and the limp kicks in. I checked resistance of the sensor and found it to be ok. I ordered a new sensor anyway, i'll get it tomorrow. BUT, I read in the bentley cd that the ecu recieves a signal from the instrument cluster.

Default I saw that part about the cluster telling the ECU how hot the motor is.

I'm a little skeptical, especially since there are 2 wires that connect directly to the ECU from the ECT sensor.
Anyway, I hope the sensor fixes the problem!

I'll see what happens today when i replace the sensor. If not, I have to find out what pin at the ecu the signal goes to, AND, what type of signal it is so I can simulate it.
Thanks!
