First stoplight race in my new to me '02...

Default First stoplight race in my new to me '02...
Mustang. Loud. Exhaust, wheels, under the hood? Get his attention. Stoplight, two lanes, no cars in front, side by side. Roll down window, smile, rev. He revs and a big v8 growl issues. Turn ESP off, rev engine to 3500, light turns green, I slip the clutch. I have to look in the rear view mirror to make sure he is trying, but I can hear him chirping in to second, soooo. Went a little into 3rd and let off gas. He pulls up, recovering the 5 or so car lengths, smiles kinda sheepishly and says, "I need a new third gear."

I am Stage 2+ for 2 more weeks and then AWE stage3 with fueling and APR RS4 intercooler kit!!! Woot!!!

Default Thats the excuse I use as well....
although I have yet to be beat:^)

But I very very rarely race on the street so that's not saying much.
