Well here's competition that the B5 S4 never had to deal with....
sounds like some kind of variation on a sequential setup...anyway this comes as little suprise since there were reports of BW working with BMW on some new turbo system a year or two back...
probably gonna be a cool car (if not a little too pricy though)
**incidentily this kinda not really but sorta does support my assertion of branding that the B6/B7 S4's should really be called A4 4.2 S-line...the S/RS branding sticks out like a sore thumb compared to BMW's M and Mercedes AMG**

twin turbo 3 series

If you build it, I will buy
maybe BMW trying to get some FI Fan boys business...and yes i think the 330hp 335i woudl be faster then the next M3 with just a few mods unless is already maxxed from factory (or you can do like B6 1.8T's and limit the power gained from a chip by using small injectors no capable of keeping up with increased air flow). And yes I'll take an FI I6 over 340 NA V8 HP...too.
in any case it would throw an interesting new variable into the equation...

I've been disappointed & confused about Audi's use of the "S" since the B5 S4 came out.
There was the S6 Avant, which was nothing more than the A6 4.2 in an Avant form.
The B6 S4 did make a little sense being called an S until the A4 started looking exactly like it or even better IMO with the ultra sport package. The B6/B7 S4 doesn't have any special since the 4.2 is essentially the same engine used across several platforms.
I think Audi has blurred the S-line and S cars too much and the RS is what the S should be.
Merc & BMW have got it together in how to define their performance line. Audi is just all over the place.
