S4 Avant pricing...
GIAC X, H&R Coilovers, piggies, Neuspeed exhaust and 22mm rear sway, short shifter, RS4 rear wing, etc, etc. All records, timing belt done, 68k miles, black with black leather, all options but Nav and the alcantara interior.
What do you guys think?
if you care too much with what you can get ($$$)
i'd suggest to part it out and sell it stock
otherwise give folks on A4 boards a great deal or trade it in

I based my price on valuations from NADA blue book, KBB, and Black Book (wholesale and private party). I even used Manheim Auto Auction prices as a worst-case price point). Then I did extensive analysis of recently sold Avants along with what was currently available, adjusting comparable prices based on things like exterior color (Nogaro +), interior color (Silver leather -), lack of Sport Pkg (-), miles (-), condition (+), avant vs sedan (+), 6-spd (+), location (arizona and texas car +), mods (+ ~50% street value), etc. In the end, my asking price would have been $23,900 with expectations of right around $23k, probably a tick under. My absolute "will-not-sell-for-less" price was slightly below this. I don't believe in pricing high only to negotiate to where you would've sold anyway ... it's a waste of time. If a buyer likes my car, it's worth what's it's worth.
Looks like you have mods beyond mine, a few less miles and that relatively pricey service interval (TB/WP) out of the way. Black is a tougher sell than Nogaro I think (not sure what your interior is) and some of your mods are "harder core" than anything I was running, which can be a negative.
I'd probably start at $24,750 - $25,000 as-is (with mods), shoot for a $23,750 or higher selling price, and something just north of $23k as your price floor. The $1,000 between asking price and selling price allows wiggle room, if only to appease a buyer who thinks there should be some nominal discount (i.e., not paying asking price) and because it gives you some leverage to deal (vs being hard set on getting over $24k).
Alternately, you could return the car as close to stock as possible and shoot for $21k-$22k then sell the parts a la carte.
The market for good condition Avants is out there. I received tons of emails on mine without so much as "feeler" posts here on AW.
Good luck.
