The S4 is getting worse day by day. Anyone want to go for a ride to troubleshoot? I dno what to do.
New problems arose in the past week.
i.e. - Tires needed, Alignment, possible motor/transmission mounts. All of this has to stop! I don't even beat on the car...EVER!
Damn NY and its potholes!!

sounds like you need to get the car up on a lift and start poking your nose around.
do you recall bottoming out badly?

Rear suspension clunking....
Bushings on the 19mm bar may be worn. Mine clunked. Replaced with new ones, nice and quiet.
Contact Neuspeed. Around $20 shipped for bushings & grease.
Aftermarket exhausts tend to expand (lengthen) when hot. Check for scratches on the exhaust and take a look underneath when hot.
Dremmel off the little nub on the rear diff mount that faces the pipe.

my money is that the bushings just need to be cleaned and regreased........
doing so will make the entire rear suspension smoother and quieter.
From all his issues, I really think he banged the bottom of the car but good!
